Job Summary

This Postdoctoral position at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) focuses on pioneering computational approaches to analyze signaling pathways and gene-drug interactions using high-throughput screening data. The successful candidate will work within the Division of Signaling and Functional Genomics, developing and adapting bioinformatics methods for experimental design, data analysis, and integration of complex genomic datasets, including multi-omics data (RNASeq, images). Key responsibilities involve designing analysis workflows, maintaining and developing existing software tools and public databases (E-RNAi, GenomeCRISPR), and supporting the team in analyzing large datasets. This role requires a Ph.D. in a quantitative field like Bioinformatics or Computer Science, proven experience in omics data analysis, strong software development skills (Java, Python, Perl, web applications), and an excellent command of English.
