Job Summary

This doctoral position is focused on investigating the mechanistic basis of an effective anti-tumor immune response identified in preclinical models. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of mechanistic immunology and translational cancer research, focusing on the role of the extracellular matrix and specific immune cell types in tumor growth suppression. Key activities include conducting systematic in vitro studies using primary immune cells and established cell lines, performing exploratory and confirmatory in vivo experiments in mouse models, and utilizing advanced techniques like proteomics, Single-Cell RNA-Seq, and bioinformatic analyses. The goal is to gain new insights into the immune response against cancer and develop strategies to modulate these immune cells for therapeutic purposes. This is an opportunity to contribute autonomously to innovative therapeutic strategies within a scientifically rigorous, clinically relevant, and highly supportive research environment.
