Job Summary

This role involves supporting the regional administration in Hannover by combining technical construction expertise with legal auditing requirements within the Accounting Audit Office. The professional will be responsible for ensuring the legality, expediency, and economic efficiency of technical projects and procurement procedures. Key tasks include reviewing tender documents, contract awards (VOB, VgV, UVgO, HOAI), and usage verification, as well as conducting project audits of overall measures in structural engineering, civil engineering, and other areas, including reviewing partial and final invoices. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management and demonstrate extensive professional experience, coupled with strong knowledge of public procurement law (HOAI) and construction operations (costing, site management, billing). This is an independent and responsible position ensuring financial integrity in public construction projects.

Required Skills

Education

University of Applied Sciences degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Technical Building Equipment, or Construction Management/Business Administration; Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or qualification for the first entry-level position of career group 2 in Technical Services (formerly higher technical construction service)

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience based on the required qualifications
  • Good knowledge in construction operations (costing, site management, billing)
  • Good knowledge in procurement law and HOAI
  • Professional experience in public administration (advantageous)
