Job Summary

This role seeks a Senior Scientist to join the Patient Centric Formulation Team within Excipients R&D, focusing on viral gene therapy applications. The successful candidate will lead the establishment of innovative capabilities for studying virus stability and optimizing analytical methods specifically for viral vectors, such as Adeno-Associated Viruses (AAVs). Day-to-day activities include designing and executing complex experiments, performing assays for thorough formulation characterization, and interpreting data to guide product development. The position requires strong independence, exceptional communication skills for presenting findings to global, interdisciplinary scientific, management, and commercial audiences, and mandatory experience with AAVs.
