This Senior Site Technician role at Siemens Mobility focuses on actively shaping the future of rail infrastructure by commissioning, testing, and modernizing interlocking systems and their electromechanical components across construction sites in the Bavaria region. Based in Braunschweig, the successful candidate will travel extensively (Monday to Friday, potentially weekends) to various sites, ensuring the safe and reliable function of rail traffic systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing installation, functional checks, cable measurements, and troubleshooting within both the signal box and track area, adhering strictly to safety regulations. The role requires a background in technical trades (e.g., Electronics or Mechatronics), ideally supplemented by a Technician or Master qualification, and proven professional experience in the assembly, maintenance, or repair of technical systems, particularly within the rail signaling sector. Strong German language skills and experience coordinating site workflows are essential for success in this critical position.
