Job Summary
The University Hospital Heidelberg (UKHD), a leading medical center in Germany, is seeking an engaged Project Management Coordinator to join the Neuropathology Department. This role is central to supporting scientific and clinical studies within one of Europe's largest neuro-oncological diagnostic institutes. The coordinator will manage the organization and correspondence related to sample submissions for scientific studies, coordinate project activities, manage third-party funding, and assist with grant applications. A core responsibility involves organizing laboratory workflows, including sample prioritization and database entries, and managing the quality management system by conducting internal audits and coordinating external audits (DAkkS and TÜV). The ideal candidate possesses a structured, strategy-oriented work style, excellent communication skills, and a background in life sciences, preferably with professional experience in scientific and administrative project management, contributing actively to the future of neuropathology diagnostics.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Life Sciences; Doctorate (PhD) desired
Experience
- Professional experience in scientific and administrative project management (advantageous)
- Experience in organizing and coordinating study meetings and correspondence
- Experience with quality management and audit procedures
