Job Summary

The City of Stuttgart's Youth Welfare Office is seeking a part-time Application and System Support Specialist to manage the cross-departmental application and system administration of PROSOZ 14plus. This role is crucial for optimizing workflows across various departments, including Child Support, Daycare, and Guardianships, directly supporting services for local families. Day-to-day responsibilities involve providing expert technical and functional user support (Fachadministration), testing and implementing new program versions, resolving errors, and meticulously documenting system settings. The specialist will also be responsible for creating reports for controlling and statistics, managing interfaces with SAP SoJuHKR, and actively collaborating within the PROSOZ administrator team. Ideal candidates possess a background in Public Management or Administration, coupled with IT affinity and practical experience in system support, particularly with PROSOZ 14plus. This position offers a secure, permanent role with flexible working models and opportunities for professional development.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, Diploma in Administrative Science, Administrative Specialist, or a comparable degree with IT affinity. Alternatively, civil servants in the intermediate administrative service who have completed advanced training.

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in the specified area of responsibility (Application and System Support)
  • Practical experience in managing one's own area of responsibility (advantageous)
  • Basic knowledge in system support (advantageous)
  • Advanced knowledge in PROSOZ 14plus

  • Position is initially part-time (50%), increasing to 75% permanently from May 1, 2026. Must be eligible for salary group A 12 gD / pay group 10 TVöD.
