Job Summary

The State Investigation Office (LUA) in Rhineland-Palatinate is seeking a dedicated Chemical-Technical Assistant or Chemical Laboratory Technician (or equivalent qualification, such as a Biological-Technical Assistant) to join their Institute for Food of Animal Origin in Koblenz. This is a part-time (50%), permanent position focused on consumer and health protection. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing sample intake, preparation, and processing (extraction, SPE, filtration), conducting investigations using wet chemical, enzymatic, and instrumental methods (NIR), and preparing and measuring LC-MS/MS analysis sequences for veterinary drug residue analysis. The role also involves supporting the quality management system. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant technical degree, is highly conscientious, proactive, and willing to work flexibly. Experience with laboratory software (LIMS) and standard office software (Excel, Word) is beneficial, making this an excellent opportunity to secure a stable public service role with supportive work-life balance measures.
