Job Summary

This Postdoctoral Researcher role focuses on driving the digitalization of Engineered Living Materials (ELM) research within the MaterialVital Hub, a collaborative network funded by the BMFTR. The successful candidate will develop code for semantically annotated data structures, create metadata schemes for ELM research methods, and lead the development of an ELM-dedicated ontology to ensure interoperability across the network. The position requires a PhD in materials science or a related discipline, ideally combining experimental research with data-driven methods.
