Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Intelligence Officer within the Operations and Situation Center of the Brandenburg State Police, focusing on real-time operational analysis and information gathering. The core responsibilities include proactively sourcing mission-critical information from publicly accessible internet data, social media, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) to support ongoing police operations and emergency situations. You will document and log all relevant findings using internal police systems, conduct monitoring of social media for criminal or danger-prevention content, and handle emergency provider requests for user data. The position requires a university degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Communications, or Journalism, coupled with expert OSINT skills, proficiency in search operators and monitoring tools, and readiness to work in a rotating shift system covering nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a challenging and essential role contributing directly to public safety and large-scale operational coordination.
