Job Summary

This role seeks an EDM Design & Library Consultant to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on expanding the use of Siemens EDA Xpedition products. The consultant will be responsible for developing advanced design methodologies, consulting directly with customers, and presenting technical solutions to enhance design performance and improve time-to-market goals. Key daily activities include analyzing customer IT architectures and design flows, identifying gaps, and utilizing strong programming and scripting skills (Python, VBScript, Java mentioned) to accommodate specific customer needs. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in PCB hardware development, software development, and EDM design and library methodologies. This position offers the opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role within the System Practice, driving innovation in complex chip, board, and system design for a global leader in Electronic Design Automation.
