Job Summary

This role involves performing diverse electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair, within the facilities of the North Rhine-Westphalia Police Training and Personnel Office (LAFP NRW) in Selm. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting complex systems like heating, ventilation, boiler, gate, and barrier systems, and ensuring the operational readiness of low and medium voltage systems, the internal power grid, and emergency power supplies. Key duties include conducting mandatory maintenance and inspection of electrical operating equipment according to DIN VDE 0701/0702 and DGUV regulations. The position requires a completed apprenticeship as an Electrician in Energy and Building Technology or a related field, along with experience in systems and control technology. Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the required field (Electrician)
  • Current experience in Systems and Control Technology
  • Current experience in electrical installation in the domestic technology sector
  • Current experience in testing and inspection using relevant measuring equipment
  • Current experience in inspecting portable electrical equipment
  • Experience as an authorized switching person (desirable)
  • Experience in operating forklifts and aerial work platforms (desirable)
