Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity to join BKK firmus, a top-rated statutory health insurance fund, and contribute significantly to building their new Oldenburg location. The Controller will be primarily responsible for the accurate, timely, and economic execution of all controlling duties within the organization. Key daily tasks include independently generating comprehensive analyses, evaluations, and profitability assessments, identifying areas for potential improvement, and deriving concrete recommendations for action. A major focus is the continuous development of key performance indicator (KPI) systems, reports, and dashboards, ensuring transparent data provision to the board and departments. Candidates should possess a strong numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and either a relevant degree in Business Administration/Controlling or specialized vocational training in social insurance with advanced qualifications. Proficiency in data analysis tools, specifically SQL programming and PowerBI visualization, is mandatory for success in this influential position.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Social Security Specialist with further qualification as a Health Insurance Specialist or Business Administrator, or a completed degree in Business Administration (BWL) or Controlling, or a comparable business administration training with knowledge in data analysis.

Experience

  • Professional experience in executing controlling tasks within a complex organizational structure, preferably in the statutory health insurance sector
  • Experience in developing and maintaining key figure systems and reports
  • Experience in analyzing goal achievement, including target-actual comparisons and variance tracking
