Job Summary

This part-time Research Associate position within the System and Network Security Research Group focuses on enhancing the digital security of the university infrastructure. The role involves critical tasks such as forensic analysis of information security incidents, defining preventative measures, and maintaining a Vulnerability Assessment Scanner. A core responsibility is the independent planning and execution of penetration tests for new software and system developments, including architectural analysis and providing concrete recommendations. This role is ideal for an IT professional with a Master's degree in Computer Science and a strong background in Linux, programming (Python, Go, Rust, C/C++), and practical penetration testing experience, who is also seeking support for a doctoral degree in System and Network Security.

Experience

  • Practical experience in penetration testing
  • Professional experience in handling Linux systems
