Job Summary
The IT Onsite Support Engineer will join a team in Nuremberg, supporting a client base primarily consisting of pharmaceutical companies across Europe. This role focuses on providing essential 1st Level IT support, utilizing a knowledge base to analyze and resolve hardware and software issues. Key responsibilities include classifying incoming customer inquiries, resolving them independently, or escalating them to specialized departments. The engineer will systematically identify and document recurring IT problems and provide First Level Support via telephone and the Service Now ticketing system. This position requires strong technical and organizational understanding, good experience in IT support or a service desk environment, and excellent German and English skills. It offers regular working hours, diverse tasks in a future-oriented industry, and a modern work environment where language skills can be actively used.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training, such as IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Customer Advisor, IT System Electronics Technician, IT System Salesperson, IT Service Technician, Information Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in IT Support or Service Desk
- Experience in analyzing and resolving hardware and software errors
