Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Scientist to drive the development, establishment, and validation of innovative quantitative and qualitative analytical methods for AAV vectors and plasmids within a dynamic team in Penzberg. The successful candidate will independently plan experimental concepts, conduct trials, and routinely execute advanced analytical methods such as LC, CE, PCR, and ELISA, ensuring meticulous documentation and interpretation of results in consultation with the Group Leader. Key requirements include a completed university degree (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent) with a strong focus on PCR, extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in biochemical and biophysical analysis, protein chemistry, and expertise in protein and virus analytics. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory. This position offers long-term job security and the opportunity to contribute to pioneering medical solutions in gene therapy.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent. Focus on PCR required. PhD or Master's degree desirable but not mandatory.

Experience

  • Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in biochemical and biophysical analysis methods and protein chemistry
  • In-depth experience with analytical methods for protein and virus analysis
  • Professional experience in independent planning of experimental concepts and evaluation of measurement results
  • Professional experience in independent routine execution of analytical methods (LC, CE, PCR, ELISA)
