Job Summary

This hands-on role as a Test Engineer places you directly within a 50-member testing team, focusing on the commissioning and validation of advanced prototypes, systems, and vehicles, primarily within the military sector. Day-to-day responsibilities involve coordinating the setup of prototype vehicles and test benches, planning and executing complex test campaigns globally, and performing intensive fault analysis directly on the hardware. You will also develop detailed validation concepts and measurement plans to generate robust data. A key aspect of the role is providing technical leadership to assigned test fitters and measurement technicians, acting as the primary technical representative to clients. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or Electrical) and possesses mandatory knowledge of military vehicle construction and technology. This position offers a dynamic mix of practical work in test halls and detailed engineering analysis, requiring regular domestic and international travel for vehicle trials and presentations.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in coordinating the setup of prototype vehicles, test benches, and subsystems
  • Professional experience in planning and conducting complex test campaigns and vehicle trials
  • Professional experience in system commissioning and intensive fault analysis directly on hardware
  • Professional experience in developing validation concepts and detailed measurement point plans
