Job Summary

This leadership role involves taking overall responsibility for the strategic and operational development of the Vectron and Vectouro rail vehicle fleets. The Head of Fleet Management will position the function as a central driver for customer orientation, profitability, and sustainable vehicle availability across the European market. Day-to-day activities include ensuring reliability, availability, and continuous modifications throughout the vehicle lifecycle, systematically analyzing performance data to implement improvements, and managing costs, quality, and schedules. The leader will manage a team of approximately 14 employees, coordinate central customer communication for delivery projects, and drive the digitalization of processes, including the integration of AI-based solutions for efficiency gains. The ideal candidate requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and extensive experience in rail vehicle fleet management and team leadership.
