Job Summary

This role is ideal for an Electrical or Power Engineering graduate, including recent graduates, who are eager to specialize in diagnostic measurements and cable fault location across all voltage levels, from low to high voltage. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently conducting diagnostic measurements on equipment like cables, transformers, and converters, performing switchgear testing, and analyzing complex issues related to measurement technology, grounding, acoustics, and EMC measurements. The specialist will develop technical recommendations, create test reports, and implement standardized measurement solutions to ensure the future viability of the power grid. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze complex AC calculations and phasor diagrams, and participation in on-call duty for rapid fault resolution, making it a critical and challenging role in maintaining reliable power infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in diagnostic measurements (ideally)
  • Experience in cable fault location (ideally)
  • Experience in grounding, acoustic, or EMC measurement (ideally)
  • Familiarity with operating power supply networks (low to high voltage) (ideally)
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duty
