Job Summary

This role involves critical production planning for pharmaceutical semi-finished and finished goods within the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. The core mission is to ensure uninterrupted patient supply by meticulously planning production based on market demands and capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include the continuous, autonomous control and adjustment of the production plan and material supply, coordinating the entire value chain from order acceptance to dispatch. You will lead and organize global and local planning meetings, ensuring alignment across relevant departments such as Manufacturing, QA, and Global Supply Planning. Furthermore, the role requires participation in deviation and change processes within the GxP environment, maintenance of planning-specific material master data, and the development of innovative planning concepts. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent vocational training combined with significant industry experience, including at least two years specifically in pharmaceutical production planning, and possesses strong proficiency in SAP S4 and MS Office automation tools.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science, or relevant vocational training (e.g., Pharmacy, Technology, or Logistics)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the processing industry (ideally production or production planning) OR relevant vocational training combined with 5 years of experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production or production planning within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience working within a GxP environment
  • Experience in steering and organizing planning meetings
