Job Summary

This role involves leading the development and implementation of an integrated diocesan Climate Protection Concept for the Diocese of Speyer, focusing on achieving a sustainable and climate-friendly future. The manager will be responsible for creating energy and greenhouse gas balances across various sectors, including real estate, mobility, procurement, and IT infrastructure. Key activities include project and process management, coordinating tasks within the administration, developing and executing initial measures, and creating consulting services for parishes and church institutions. The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive expertise in climate protection, environmental management, and sustainability, coupled with strong project steering and communication skills, to drive innovative projects forward and network with key internal and external stakeholders. This is a two-year fixed-term project position funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
