This role involves independently managing and maintaining the university-wide system environments, specifically focusing on Microsoft-based applications within the Azure and M365 ecosystems. The specialist will handle support requests (phone, electronic, and in-person) for university members, conduct requirements analyses, and plan and implement system development initiatives. The ideal candidate must possess a background in IT/Computer Science, significant experience in M365 administration (including Exchange Online), and advanced proficiency in PowerShell for automation and scripting. Required Skills
Education
Completed relevant vocational training in Informatics (e.g., IT Specialist in System Integration) or a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Experience
- Experience in the conception, implementation, and administration of Microsoft 365 services
- Relevant experience in the administration of Exchange Online or comparable email services
- Practical experience in handling APIs (preferably Microsoft Graph API)
- Experience in creating and adapting PowerShell scripts for workflow efficiency
- Multi-year professional experience (desirable)
- Experience with different operating systems (e.g., Linux) (desirable)
