IT Lab Manager and Media Informatics Specialist | Medieninformatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This highly responsible role involves leading the BayernLab Bad Neustadt a.d.Saale, one of 13 regional IT laboratories dedicated to making digital innovation and e-Government accessible to the public. The successful candidate will manage the department and its staff, coordinate daily operations, and actively shape the lab's content and strategic development in collaboration with other BayernLabs. Key daily tasks include acquiring cooperation partners and specialist speakers, coordinating with regional service providers, and engaging visitors through presentations and workshops on cutting-edge digitalization topics such as 3D printing, Virtual Reality, multicopter usage, and IT security. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or Media Sciences), proven leadership competence, strong organizational skills, and a passion for working with people and modern IT trends. It offers an innovative, future-oriented environment within the public service sector (TV-L E 12).
