Job Summary

This role involves managing and steering the operation of digital school applications, specifically within the Linux and DevOps environment, ensuring alignment with the overall IT architecture, particularly concerning the Identity and Access Management (IAM) for the BayernCloud Schule (ByCS). The Specialist will conduct feasibility studies, introduce innovative technologies to enhance service quality, and actively participate in projects, often taking the lead in coordination with various government authorities (like the Ministry of Education) and internal operations teams. A core function is providing strategic consultation to technical staff and management on IT strategy, architecture, and innovation management. The ideal candidate must possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong expertise in Linux, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools, and excellent communication skills in both German and English.
