Job Summary

This Senior Administrator role involves the comprehensive management, operation, and enhancement of critical Remote Access Infrastructures, supporting future-oriented E-Government applications for the Free State of Bavaria. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining the remote access systems, creating and updating essential operational documentation and concepts, and performing in-depth analysis and resolution of system disruptions. The position requires a degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience. Key technical skills needed are excellent networking knowledge, strong Linux proficiency, experience in scripting (Bash, Python), and good understanding of VPN technologies (IPsec and/or SSLVPN) and IT security.
