Job Summary

This role involves the crucial initial electrical commissioning of large components for mobile harbor cranes (MHC) at a manufacturing site in Düsseldorf-Benrath. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the setup and configuration of Profi-, Can-, and A-S-Interface bus systems, as well as the parameterization and commissioning of inverters within drive trains using Siemens-Starter. A significant part of the job is detailed troubleshooting, including inspecting, testing, and measuring electrical switchgear, and maintaining meticulous documentation of commissioning progress and measurement results. The successful candidate must have a relevant electro-technical background, practical experience with drive systems, PLCs, frequency converters, and Siemens S7 control systems, and be proficient in reading circuit diagrams. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive, collectively bargained wages, 30 days of vacation, and a 35-hour work week in a stable, global company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed electro-technical apprenticeship (e.g., Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Industrial Electrician, Mechatronics Technician). Further qualification as a Technician is advantageous.
