Job Summary

This Electrical Design Engineer role, based in Wetter, focuses on modernizing complex material handling systems for Konecranes, a global industry leader. Key responsibilities include clarifying the technical and economic scope of modernization orders and coordinating these efforts with project management, customers, and internal interfaces. Day-to-day tasks involve performing detailed electrical and mechanical design, creating and managing comprehensive manufacturing documentation, and entering orders into ERP systems like SAP. You will also be responsible for compiling and adapting technical customer documentation according to project-specific requirements. The ideal candidate holds a Technician qualification or has 1-3 years of professional experience in electrical design, ideally within drive/conveyor technology or crane construction. Success requires fluency in German and intermediate English skills, alongside proficiency in technical design and planning tools. Experience

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in electrical design
  • Experience in drive and conveyor technology and crane construction (ideal)
  • Professional experience in order processing and handling standard and process crane systems
  • Experience with design schematic systems (e.g., E3 or others)
