Job Summary
Siemens Mobility is seeking a Development Engineer to join their team focused on developing on-board power converters for electric supply systems in trains, such as the ICE. In this role, you will be responsible for the programming and simulation of modern power converters using the latest technology, as well as the testing and validation of the entire on-board converter system within the vehicle. Day-to-day tasks involve designing and verifying converter functions, integrating the system electrically and control-technically into the vehicle, and coordinating development steps across various departments. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Electronics, and possesses strong knowledge of control engineering and algorithmic implementation (e.g., SIMATIC). This position offers the opportunity to significantly influence the performance and technological innovation of future rail products while working in international, cross-site teams.

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on Power Electronics/Converter Technology
Experience
- Initial professional experience in development or engineering
- Experience in rail technology (ideally)
