Job Summary

This role involves developing high-performance, reliable traction components and designing/manufacturing traction power converters for railway technology, contributing significantly to the mobility transition. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical design and specification of components for railway drive power converters. Key daily tasks include coordinating technical and scheduling collaboration with various departments such as construction, prototype building, type testing, and serial production introduction. You will also act as the interface to sales, analyzing and evaluating power converter requirement specifications, and creating concepts and technical specifications for drive power converters. Success in this role requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics or Drive Technology, along with initial professional experience in development or engineering within the drive technology sector. Proficiency in German and English is mandatory for communication in the international environment.
