Join a dedicated team at Siemens Healthineers focused on translating cutting-edge Magnetic Resonance Tomography (MRT) research into clinical practice, specifically for the Ultra-High Field (UHF) MR scanner (7T). This role involves full-cycle application development, from initial prototype to final product, focusing on Neuro, MSK, and Body imaging applications. Key responsibilities include driving activities with global clinical UHF partners, evaluating new features for clinical utility, optimizing protocols, and ensuring quality documentation. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field, possesses extensive professional experience (or a PhD plus experience) in MRT/7T-MRT, and has strong programming skills in tools like C++, Python, and Matlab. Success requires excellent organizational and communication skills, fluency in English, and a passion for innovation in healthcare technology.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master's or equivalent) in Physics, Medical Informatics, Signal or Image Processing, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field. A PhD is an alternative qualification path.
Experience
- Extensive professional experience in Magnetic Resonance Tomography (MRT), ideally in 7T-MRT
- Alternatively, a PhD plus several years of experience in MRT/7T-MRT
- Professional experience in developing MR sequences, image reconstruction, and protocol creation

- Located in Erlangen (ERL R), Germany, with flexibility for up to 60% mobile work within Germany. Full-time, permanent contract.
