Job Summary
This key role involves technically managing innovative Static Frequency Converter (SFC) systems for national and international rail infrastructure projects, contributing significantly to the future energy supply of rail mobility. Day-to-day, the manager takes technical responsibility for engineering sub-projects focused on converter systems, driving their successful implementation from concept phase to final installation. This includes analyzing tenders during the bidding phase, developing competitive energy supply concepts, and coordinating the economic design of components with project management. The role requires strong technical expertise in electrical power supply, AC networks, power electronics, and medium/high-voltage switchgear. Success hinges on effective interface clarification, steering engineering teams and suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to customer requirements through diligent management, and overseeing technical documentation until the complete systems are handed over. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in a relevant engineering field and possesses professional experience in engineering and project execution.
