Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Field Service Technician specializing in complex video and access control systems within the greater Karlsruhe area. The technician will be the primary contact for customers, ensuring the flawless operation and maintenance of security installations under existing service contracts. Key responsibilities include coordinating contractually agreed services, performing structured functional tests, and actively maintaining system availability both reactively and proactively. A core part of the job involves supporting critical operational processes such as Patch Management, Software Maintenance, IT Security, and Security Vulnerability Management on end-customer systems. The ideal candidate possesses a background in electrical or information technology, professional experience in server administration (especially Windows Server), and proficiency in handling complex IT and distributed systems. This position offers significant autonomy in determining the best solutions for customers and the opportunity to transform existing technologies into future-proof solutions within the Smart Infrastructure sector.
