Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated System Specialist Operations professional responsible for the independent and autonomous execution of 2nd Level Support for applications, services, and infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks involve defining and tracking Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service KPIs, proactively monitoring compliance, and initiating optimization measures with engineering teams to prevent customer-impacting incidents. The specialist will also manage escalations up to the group management level and support the roll-out of new systems, services, and software. Key qualifications include a technical background, extensive experience in IT application or Telco network operations, and strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Unix/Linux and networking protocols (TCP/IP) is highly beneficial, along with good English language skills (B1 level). Education
Technical apprenticeship or university degree (FH/Applied Sciences) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Experience
- 5 years of professional experience with a technical apprenticeship
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT Application Operations or Telco Network Operations with a university degree (FH/Applied Sciences)
- Professional experience in identifying and implementing proactive optimization measures
- Experience in managing escalations
