Job Summary

This role involves supporting and operating an extensive VMware platform, specifically focusing on VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) and Firewall/Microsegmentation technologies. The Junior IT Administrator will be responsible for the planning, conceptualization, and commissioning of complex systems and projects, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and introduction of supporting tools, alongside comprehensive system documentation. A key focus is maintaining agreed-upon service levels and optimizing operational processes. Candidates should possess a relevant IT degree or professional training, coupled with at least one year of experience in IT administration, and must have strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, VCenter, and networking components. The position also requires participation in projects for public clients (Federal/State level) and excellent communication skills in both German and English.
