Job Summary

This role is critical for ensuring Siemens Energy engineers maintain cost-efficient and uninterrupted access to essential software licenses globally. The License Manager will work within a dedicated team, focusing on the strategic and operational aspects of software license management. Key responsibilities include analyzing complex license models to guarantee optimal and legally compliant usage, forecasting license requirements based on usage behavior, and actively contributing to internal cost distribution and monitoring using advanced PowerBI skills. The ideal candidate will manage Siemens Digital Industry (DI) licenses (e.g., Teamcenter, NX, Comos) from the Siemens Energy perspective, coordinate with vendors and internal customers, and provide crucial technical support to procurement during contract negotiations and external audits. Success in this position requires a strong analytical mindset, long-term experience (5+ years) in license management, and fluency in both German and English.
