As a Supplier Quality Engineer specializing in castings, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of the global supply chain for a leading energy technology company. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading cross-functional teams to conduct product and process qualifications at supplier sites worldwide. You will be responsible for monitoring supplier performance, conducting root cause analyses for complaints, and implementing risk mitigation strategies. A key part of the role includes planning and executing regular supplier audits and integrating purchasing-related aspects into the product development process through early supplier involvement.
