Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Vehicle Engineering team in Berlin, focusing on the development and execution of cutting-edge Body-in-White (BIW) structures for next-generation automotive products. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and developing BIW component and system specifications, ensuring best-in-class targets for function, cost, weight, NVH, structural, and crash performance are met. Daily tasks involve utilizing CATIA V5 and 3DX to develop design concepts and production designs, optimizing these designs based on analytical and physical assessments, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Key requirements include a background in mechanical engineering, hands-on experience in automotive body design, and proficiency in advanced CAD tools and GD&T.
