Job Summary

This role involves contributing specialized expertise to patient-oriented diagnostics within the field of molecular (hemato-)oncology and somatic genetics, significantly impacting individualized therapy design. Day-to-day tasks include generating diagnostic reports, interpreting Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Liquid Biopsy analyses, and integrating this expertise into routine diagnostics. A key focus is on optimizing NGS evaluation pipelines and developing new analytical procedures to expand the somatic diagnostics portfolio. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Biology or a related natural science, possesses experience in molecular diagnostics (especially NGS), and is proficient in working with various biological samples (FFPE, blood, bone marrow). Success in this role requires structured, quality-oriented work adhering to certified management systems (ISO 9001/ISO 15189) and professional use of specialized laboratory and genetic database systems.
