This role involves supporting cutting-edge metrological applications within the Physical Technical Federal Institute (PTB) in Berlin-Adlershof, specifically focusing on Radiometry with Synchrotron Radiation. The successful candidate will prepare, execute, and evaluate high-precision measurements using synchrotron radiation, such as reflectometric measurements, in collaboration with international industrial and research partners. A key focus is the advancement of optical components for EUV semiconductor lithography and space-based astronomy. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining and servicing complex measuring facilities, particularly beamlines, and continuously refining measurement procedures and evaluation protocols.
