Job Summary

This Senior IT Infrastructure System Engineer role, based in Heidelberg, involves joining an expert team focused on Workplace Management and ensuring the operational readiness and necessary evolution of the IT infrastructure for a medium-sized enterprise. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing cloud-based IT infrastructure solutions, managing the deployment of endpoints and client applications, and driving task automation using scripting technologies like Powershell. A key component of the role is acting as a central communicator, translating deep technical expertise into actionable insights for decision-makers, often through Proof of Concept studies and factsheets. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications, proven experience in providing Windows clients in large organizations, and expert knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product portfolio, ideally backed by a Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator Associate certification.
