Job Summary
This role at the University Hospital Erlangen involves critical support for cutting-edge research, focusing heavily on molecular biology and cell culture. Day-to-day tasks include performing advanced molecular biological techniques such as qPCR, ELISA, Western Blot (WB), and Immunohistochemistry (IHC), alongside culturing various cell lines and primary cells. A significant component of the job involves analyzing intracellular signal transduction, conducting coupled enzymatic assays, and utilizing flow cytometry and cell sorting for analysis and separation of immune cells. The position also requires working with laboratory mice for animal experimentation. Candidates must have completed vocational training as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent, possess basic knowledge of molecular biology and English, and demonstrate high motivation and the ability to work independently.
