Job Summary

This role involves leading the Electrical Engineering department, currently consisting of 29 employees, within the Facility Management division of the Uniklinikum Erlangen. The manager will be responsible for coordinating IT-oriented predictive maintenance to ensure the proper and efficient operation of electrical systems, including medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) networks. Key duties also include supporting IT-based energy management compliant with ISO 50001 and providing expert technical consultation during the planning, construction, and commissioning of new building projects and optimization measures. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses strong organizational and conceptual skills, and has professional leadership experience, ideally within a hospital environment. This is a critical, full-time position ensuring the smooth, year-round operation of a major university hospital.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree (Diplom/Master) in Electrical Engineering, preferably with completed skilled worker training (Facharbeiterausbildung)

Experience

  • Professional experience in a leadership position (advantageous)
  • Professional experience in the hospital sector (advantageous)
  • Experience in Project Management (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of VgV (Public Procurement Regulation) and VOB (Contract Procedures for Construction Works) (advantageous)
