Job Summary
This role seeks an enthusiastic IT Support Specialist in Salzgitter to join a dynamic team, initially through temporary employment with the potential for direct placement with the client. The core responsibility involves acting as the primary point of contact for internal users, quickly resolving computer and software issues, and providing excellent customer service. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting user problems, managing IT incidents (especially printer issues), ensuring software functionality, and handling hardware swaps (old for new). The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, exceptional communication skills to explain complex IT topics clearly, and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive, humorous attitude. A key requirement is secure German language proficiency (B2 level) and a valid Class B (or old B3) driving license for manual transmission vehicles, as travel between locations is necessary.
