Job Summary
This role involves designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions and customizations on the ServiceNow platform, focusing specifically on modules like Customer Service Management (CSM) and optimizing IT Service Management (ITSM) processes according to ITIL standards. The developer will actively shape the platform through customizing, scripting (JavaScript), creating Business Rules, UI Policies, and modeling Workflows and Flow Designer processes. A key component of the role is utilizing Java expertise to implement high-performance, standalone solutions for the IT infrastructure and developing/maintaining robust REST interfaces for seamless data integration with third-party systems. The ideal candidate must possess proven experience in ServiceNow development, JavaScript scripting, Java development, and hold relevant ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, CSM). This position requires strong collaboration with business units, active participation in an agile team environment (SCRUM/Kanban), and ensuring code quality through testing and documentation.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable IT training
Experience
- Several years of professional experience
- Experience in development on the ServiceNow platform
- Experience in JavaScript scripting
- Experience with Flow Designer (ideally)
- Professional experience with agile working methods (SCRUM, Kanban)
