Job Summary

This role involves acting as the IT expert and Product Owner for digital price labeling (Electronic Shelf Labels - ESL) solutions across the Schwarz Group's retail stores. The professional will be responsible for the planning and steering of the solution rollout, coordinating implementation with internal departments and external service providers, and ensuring seamless technical execution, particularly concerning network, firewall, and software updates. A core responsibility is owning the entire lifecycle, embracing the 'You build it, you run it' philosophy, which includes successful deployment, continuous operation, and maintaining zero downtime during system changes. The ideal candidate brings experience in IT project or rollout management, preferably within the retail sector, and possesses technical knowledge in areas like network infrastructure, IT security, software deployment, and wireless communication (e.g., BLE). Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate complex technical topics simply, and very good proficiency in both German and English for collaboration within international, agile teams.
