Job Summary

This role is designed for (Junior) Electrical Engineers or Technicians who want to qualify as Planners within the German railway system (DB InfraGO AG) in Munich. The position begins with an intensive six-month qualification phase, including practical and theoretical training across various nationwide locations, focusing on the railway system, planning fundamentals, and DB InfraGO projects. Day-to-day responsibilities involve independently developing draft, approval, and implementation plans for telecommunications systems in the railway environment, adhering to German regulations (HOAI, VV Bau STE). You will also provide technical support during customer and subcontractor acceptance processes, create customized technical and economic solution concepts, and assist with project documentation. The ideal candidate holds a degree or qualification (Technician/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, possesses planning knowledge, and is proficient in German, demonstrating a customer-oriented mindset.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university or technical college degree (e.g., Engineer) or qualification as a Technician or Master in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, Communications Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Electrical Engineering), or equivalent.

Experience

  • Practical experience in a technical environment (ideally)
  • Knowledge of German planning regulations (HOAI and VOB) (ideally)
