Job Summary

This role involves consulting with clients and implementing robust, database-centric Data Platform solutions primarily leveraging Microsoft Azure services. The engineer will focus on relational and NoSQL databases, data integration, performance tuning, and ensuring strong Data Governance. Key responsibilities include analyzing existing data landscapes, designing and implementing Azure databases (Azure SQL, Managed PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB), and creating high-availability and disaster recovery concepts. The position requires a strong hands-on mentality to implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, optimize query performance through indexing and partitioning, and model data for reporting, analytics, and Machine Learning use cases.
