Job Summary
The University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD) is seeking an experienced Biology Laboratory Technician to join the Central Unit for Animal Research and Scientific Animal Protection (ZETT). This role involves performing critical laboratory investigations spanning microbiology, serology, histology, and molecular biology. Key responsibilities include conducting animal dissections, sample collection and processing, and meticulous documentation in compliance with legal regulations. The technician will also assist with embryo transfer, cryopreservation of rodent embryos, and preparation/care during surgical procedures for various laboratory animal species. The ideal candidate holds a completed qualification as a Biology Laboratory Technician, possesses several years of experience in the veterinary medicine field, and demonstrates proficiency in MS Office and animal husbandry software.
