Job Summary
This Postdoctoral Researcher position at the TU Dresden's Institute for Nuclear and Particle Physics focuses on cutting-edge scientific research in particle physics simulation. The core responsibility involves developing and refining Monte Carlo simulation programs, specifically advancing the Sherpa event generator. Key areas of focus include heavy-flavor production using the fusing method, polarization of unstable particles, optimizing event generation sustainability for large LHC experiments, or neutrino scattering. The role also requires contributing to academic teaching within the faculty's scope and publishing research findings through publications and conference presentations.
