Job Summary

This role is ideal for a technically proficient professional who enjoys travel and providing hands-on IT support within the Windows environment. As an IT Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the professional implementation and maintenance of IT workstations and network infrastructure directly at customer sites across Eastern Germany, including locations like Cottbus, Zittau, Jena, and Bremen. Day-to-day tasks involve comprehensive client rollout and configuration, including the installation and setup of PCs, notebooks, and monitors. You will manage service requests and incidents using ticketing systems, perform detailed troubleshooting in the Windows client environment, and provide direct technical user support. Furthermore, you will assist with network changes, patching, switching, and maintaining thorough documentation. This is a full-time, fixed-term position within a long-term infrastructure project for a leading IT service provider, offering a structured, customer-focused work environment and the opportunity to work on challenging public sector projects.
